New Nephew

Karson Allan Miller came into this world yesterday, May 23rd weighing 5lbs. 10 oz.

Wade's sister Heather had a C-section yesterday at only 36 weeks after having some pregnancy complications. We went up to Marshall yesterday to meet the little guy, but because he was having some trouble breathing, he never left the nursery while we were there. We will get lots of chances to hold and kiss him soon! They were giving him oxygen, and he had an IV until he was breathing better on his own. Nathan & Heather were hoping to get to hold him for the first time tonight.

Wade thought he looked like a little astronaut in his "oxygen bubble"

We love you already little buddy!

Changing Seasons

"... No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him... "
1 Corinthians 2:9

It's okay that you're thinking I'm a dork... I've already been called that to my face. But I really am okay with it. It's true most of the time.
New camera + no kids = pictures of nature. You can only take so many pictures of your dog and your husband, before they're both sick of that. (Daisee is MUCH more cooperative than Wade!)

I told Wade to do something worth taking a picture of. He was watching basketball, and this is what I get. :)

And this is Daisee's idea of posing for my pictures.

They are both cute tho huh? :)

American Idol

Since Janurary 13, we have spent 2 nights a week watcing Season 8 of American Idol. I can honestly say, thanks to our DVR we did not miss an episode.

Last night was the finale. And, to my ( and Americas) suprise... my favorite WON! Kris Allen, a 23 year old (who happened to get married the same time I did) was this years winner. I cried a little when they called his name last night....he is an amazing singer.
To top off my night, he performed with one of my other favorites... Keith Urban.

Keek Graduates!

My sister Kelsi (Keek to some of us) graduated from high school today. Here are a few pictures from her commencement. Kelsi is going to Northwestern in the fall for elementary education.

Miniature Earth

Check out this link. I ran into this site a few months ago, and go back and watch it every once in a while. I usually end up watching it over and over. It gives you a real perspective of the world we live in.

It really makes you appreciate the simple things we take for granted huh? We are so very blessed...

Baby Showers!

This summer I will be getting a new neice & nephew! Wade's sister Heather is having a boy, in June. My sister-in-law Jenny is having a girl in July. I had a baby shower for each of them this weekend. I can't wait to meet these new little babies!

We had to move Heather's shower to her house because her doctor didn't want her traveling anymore. So we all ventured to Marshall, MN Saturday afternoon.

Minneapolis Weekend

After a full day of shopping at the Mall of America, we went to the Metrodome for a Twin's baseball game. The Twin's lost in overtime. Oops that's basketball, in "extra innings". That can give you some idea of my knowledge of baseball. It was okay tho. The super nachos and the People magazine I picked up on the way to the game kept me occupied.

Wade & I, Kevin & Kim Bosma, Dave & Nikki Bleeker

We met my high school friend Kelly and her fiance Pete at the game.

Christmas Card? :)

The longer the game went, the more people left early. So.. we snuck into some very good seats right behind the batters. I was much more entertained when I could see the actual people... especially when Joe Mauer was up to bat:)
