9 months

3/4 of a year you have been in my life Larkin LeNeta, and for 3/4 of a year my life has been full. bright. and wonderful. You are funny, and smiley, and observant. You copy so many things we say and do, and the noises we make. 


You are still the easiest, most content baby.
Unless I put you in your crib during the day for a nap, you almost never cry.


You have dropped below the 10th percentile, and now weigh 15lbs. 12oz. {you gained less than 1 pound since your 6 month check up} You are 27 inches long.


You have hardly gained weight in the last months, because you now crawl everywhere. You pull yourself up by anything, and are happiest when you can stand and play with a toy, a tag, a book, or really anything you can suck on.


You love to chew on the cords of the lamps in the living room, and tip over Daisee’s water bowl. You know both are naughty. You crawl toward them, stop and look at Mommy or Daddy, shake your head back and forth “no, no, no”… and then continue right on. doing what you know is naughty.
and so it starts. {sigh}


You wear size 2 diapers, and mostly 6-9 month clothes. I tired a pair of jean shorts on you from last summer (size 0-3 months) and they still fit… looks we will get some use of them this summer! You have 2 teeth on the bottom. You say “da da da” all the time, and recently started to say “mum” over and over when you are tired.

From the time you were born mommy would sing this to you, and you loved it. Look at you now, doing it all by yourself.
